Alignment is important for road holding and problems can cause rapid and abnormal tyre wear and wear on steering components. Even events such as hitting a kerb or driving through a pothole can result in misalignment.
We recommend for alignment to be checked at least once a year. As well as this, a vehicle should be taken to the local ATS service centre if:
- Abnormal tyre wear is noticed
- The vehicle has recently experienced a violent shock, for example hit a kerb or pot hole
- The road holding of the vehicle is diminishing
One of our fully qualified technicians will check the alignment on the vehicle and adjust the tracking in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications if needed.
