Bourne End resident Ian Clarke, 54, has won a luxury break for two to New York after having four new tyres fitted at ATS Euromaster’s fast-fit service centre in Station Road, Bourne End.
The nationwide competition was promoted in Prima magazine and open to any retail customer spending more than £200 in one of ATS Euromaster’s 380 service centres across the UK.
“Entering the competition was easy,” said Ian. “All I had to do was enter my name and address on the ATS Euromaster website, together with my invoice number to prove I’d spent more than £200. Then a few weeks later I got a call to say my wife and I were jetting off to New York.”
The bumper trip includes flights, four nights in a luxury hotel, tickets to a top Broadway show, cocktails overlooking Times Square, brunch at a top New York diner, free passes to some of the city’s top attractions and £500 spending money.
Ian, who visited the new ATS Euromaster centre in Bourne End in October last year, purchased a pair of new Michelin front tyres for each of his two cars – a VW Polo hatchback and Mercedes-Benz B Class MPV.
“My wife and I are thrilled to be going to New York,” added Ian. “This trip is a fantastic prize and we still can’t quite believe we’ve won. It was my first time at our new local ATS Euromaster centre and I found their service very good. I went in with four worn tyres and came out with four new Michelin’s and a free trip to New York. I will definitely be going back!”
Ian and his wife, Marilyn, were presented with their travel tickets by Matthew Lingwood, Lead Technician at ATS Euromaster’s Bourne End centre.
ATS Euromaster’s modern facility in Bourne End opened in October 2008 and offers a full range of services for motorists including tyres, exhausts, brakes, shock absorbers, batteries, oil and MOTs. Matthew and his team of technicians ensure the centre is open from 8:30am until 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, and from 8:00am until 1:00pm on Saturday.
