ATS Euromaster has secured a deal with independent ambulance fleet firm MediForce, to manage the company's tyres across its 30-vehicle fleet.
The firm, which is based in Slough, provides emergency medical support across a variety of high-profile UK sporting events, with racecourses at Epsom Downs and Sandown Park among the venues at which it operates.
Under the agreement, ATS Euromaster will undertake proactive tyre maintenance across the fleet of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Renault Master ambulances used by the firm, as well as offering services for its Land Rover Freelander and Volvo XC70 rapid response vehicles.
As part of the service, the tyre-fitting experts will undertake regular compound safety inspections, wheel alignment checks and general maintenance work on their vehicles.
Speaking to Fleet World, Mediforce operations director David Hibbert explained that the firm opted for ATS Euromaster because of the importance of employing a firm able to respond to any problems at short notice.
"We don't operate under standard parameters; we're on-duty 24/7 and need a service provider to match," he said.
"Knowing ATS Euromaster's rapid response team is just a phone call away – no matter what time it is or where we are – was a major factor in this agreement."
Last week, ATS Euromaster secured a similar agreement with vegetable distribution business Huntapac.
