Businesses looking for the best van leasing quote should always check whether maintenance and servicing on tyres and break parts among other components is included.
That is according to the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA), which is the established trade body for businesses using rental cars and commercial vehicles.
With businesses facing rising rates and VAT charges in 2012, many are looking to low-cost deals in a bid to reduce running costs in the increasingly austere times.
In some instances, these businesses may look to leasing cars and vans, with firms across the UK offering excellent deals.
However, BVRLA head of communications Toby Poston urged those looking at quotes to ensure they investigate the level of cover offered on replacing tyres and car parts.
"Take care to look at exactly what you are getting and only compare like with like," he said.
"Does the quote include maintenance and servicing? Is an upfront deposit required? How many repayments are required?"
The comments come after Mr Poston advised those looking to lease vans to purchase maintenance and servicing cover on tyres.
