The brand new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, the most powerful car ever produced by the Italian automaker, will feature Michelin tyres.
Under a new agreement between the firms, the new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyre, the world's fastest series-produced compound on the track, will be fitted on the car.
Ferrari opted for Michelin tyres following its previous successful collaboration with the firm on compounds for its 599 GTO and FF automobiles.
The Italian manufacturer also noted Michelin's notable success in some of the world's most track-intensive endurance races.
In the 24 hours of Le Mans race alone, the compound manufacturer has scored 14 victories.
The lessons learned on these racetracks has also translated into the firm's range or road tyres, with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport offering similarly impressive performance.
These latest tyres, produced by Michelin, have been designed to handle the power and torque of the 740 bhp 6,262 cc V12 engine, which powers the F12 Berlinetta.
