Six months ahead of the next Festival of Speed (June 28th to July 1st), Goodwood has revealed that it will be honouring Lotus at the event.
A special Central Feature installation will be set up outside Goodwood House, highlighting the marque's history.
The British brand is currently in the middle of a five-year plan to reinvigorate its stock, but has been a staple of the motoring industry for the past 60 years.
In that time, the technology has changed – everything from the chassis to the tyres have been transformed – but Lotus is just as iconic as it was in 1952.
Leading the way in its fleet is the Esprit, which is due to be relaunched in 2013, as part of an entirely new range of vehicles.
Next year marks the 50th anniversary of the super Lotus sportscar and 40 years since the Esprit concept was first revealed to the world.
