Italian Formula One (F1) team Torro Rosso has carried out a comprehensive assessment of next year's Pirelli tyres.
The Red Bull-owned team and its rivals have been testing the prototype tyres at the Young Driver Test event held in Abu Dhabi this week.
Stefano Coletti was representing the team at the test event and managed to test several sets of tyres on his way to an 11th place finish.
Laurent Mekies, chief engineer of Torro Rosso, revealed that it carried out a number of tests to help it develop next year's car.
He said: "In the afternoon, we carried out a very comprehensive evaluation of the tyres Pirelli plans to use for next year.
"Stefano did a good job of trying the different specifications and comparing them to the current baseline we have from this year's rubber."
