Red Bull driver Mark Webber has claimed that the upcoming Indian Grand Prix will provide a stern test to Pirelli's tyres.
This Sunday (October 30th), Formula One (F1) drivers will get their first competitive taste of the new Buddh International Circuit and the Australian star claims that the speed of the circuit and humidity will put pressure on team's Pirelli tyres.
He said: "It's going to be pretty warm, which is going to be a challenge for the tyres. I've never been to India before.
"There are some amazing cricket players from India – it's their number one sport and I'd love to watch Australia play cricket there someday. I'm looking forward to the weekend."
Webber added that Red Bull now have an 85 per cent understanding of what the track will be like as the team's drivers have completed some test work in simulators.
The race will mark the first time an F1 Grand Prix has been held in India, with plans for the event originally starting in 1997.
