ATS Euromaster director Ian Stuart has heralded the appointments of Peter Tye and Columba Zaal in senior operational roles as the first phase in a major plan of expansion for the firm.
According to an announcement by the tyre fitting specialist, Mr Tye will step into the position of group operations director – retail while Mr Zaal has been appointed as group operations director – comprehensive.
Their arrival comes after former group operations director Chris Hufflet left the company to pursue opportunities outside of the compound industry.
Mr Tyre has experience in operation roles with the Volkswagen Group at Audi and Seat, as well as recently working with tyre firm Goodyear Dunlop.
Mr Zaal meanwhile came to ATE Euromaster in July 2009, having worked his way up at the firm, following six years in senior management with RAC Windscreens.
The appointments won the backing of Mr Stuart, who predicted big things for the pair and the fortunes of the tyre checking firm.
“Their combined expertise provides ATS Euromaster with a solid foundation on which to continue the next phase of our company’s growth," he said.
Both will report directly to the company director.
