ATS Euromaster unveils new technican course

ATS Euromaster has created a new course for technicians that has gained full accreditation from the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI).

The new programme, which has been developed by the firm's technical services team, covers everything from tyre fitting to car air conditioning service work, wheel alignment, scheduled maintenance servicing and steering.

Training will also covers work on brakes, suspension and exhaust systems along with much more.

The plans represent the culmination of a close collaboration between ATS Euromaster and the IMI, with the compound fitter previously providing support for a number of programmes run by the industry body.

Stan Rudowski, group head of health, safety and technical services at ATS Euromaster, said: “The IMI courses allow our training to be 100 per cent focused around our direct needs.

"We’ve structured them to reflect the increasing emphasis on SMR, in addition to tyres and fast-fit.”

The taining course will be delivered by the compound provider's eight resident technical training team members, with the firm expecting to train over 1,500 technicians in the next year.
