At a time when the recession is hitting many businesses it is perhaps reassuring to hear about those companies which are growing and reporting record sales.
That is the case for Chevrolet, which has just announced sales of over 1.25 million vehicles worldwide during Q3 of 2012. This figure represents an increase of 3.1 per cent compared to the same period last year.
Chris Perry, vice president of global marketing at Chevrolet, said: "Chevrolet will continue to build on the momentum of eight straight quarters of record global sales by introducing 25 new products around the world in 2013."
In addition to sales rising in the US, China, Brazil, Russia and Mexico, Chevrolet has been busy in Europe, where it has launched ten new cars in the past year-and-a-half.
The brand recently had to increase imports of the Chevrolet Spark to the US as it proved to be particularly popular Stateside.
