Michelin promotes road safety with ‘edgy’ puppet show

29th August 2012

Tyres giant Michelin has teamed up with vehicle leasing and fleet management company Arval to promote road safety to Swindon's teenagers via an engaging puppet show.

A far cry from Punch and Judy, the Theatre in Education Show, entitled 'Routes – The Teenage Highway Code', explores themes of personal responsibility and the dangers of peer pressure. It has already been performed in 15 schools and received positive feedback from students and teachers alike.

Arval has now taken the show on board as part of its corporate social responsibility programme.

"Business fleets account for a large proportion of the traffic on our roads, whether it’s company cars or grey fleet vehicles, so the industry as a whole has a responsibility to share road safety messages," said Tracey Scarr, Arval's Fleet and Road Manager.
