The Nissan Qashqai has been named used car of the year by CAP for the second year running.
A panel of judges consisting of used car market and vehicle experts at the independent car pricing benchmark site rated the Qashqai as the best in the crowd based on a number of criteria.
These included affordability and practicality, brand reputation, retail popularity, and innovative impact on the motor industry.
Judging panel chairman Mark Bulmer, editor of CAP Black Book, commented: "It is a great all-rounder that is perfect for its purpose, delivering on style as well as practicality for the motorist and providing a great retail proposition for used car dealers."
The Qashquai is proving popular with used car shoppers, but it is always a good idea when you are buying a vehicle that has already been on the road to invest in a new set of tyres.
Shopping for tyres online is a good way to ensure that the price of doing so does not become too prohibitive.
