Contintental Tire branding gets a fresh, new look

14th June 2013

To reflect their changing corporate ethos and aspirations for growth, Continental Tire have updated their logo. The tyre maker is over 140 years old, and is among the top five tyre manufacturers in the world. Since Continental’s launch in 1871, the brand has often been represented by an orange logo bearing the name, alongside its launch date and horse to symbolise mobility and strength.

The new logo features black writing on an orange background, bearing the company name and its new tagline: ‘The Future In Motion’, alongside the horse that’s appeared in previous branding. The revamped logo is part of a campaign to update the brand and refresh the company’s strategy. It will be rolled out across the company throughout the remainder of 2013.

Continental executive board member, Nikolai Setzer, said: “In the tire industry, maintaining a distinctive brand presence is more important than ever. We are convinced that our new logo will help us write the next chapters in our success story in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA), in the Americas and especially in Asia.”

Despite the new look, the German tyre maker continues to produce the same high-quality products the world’s expected of them for more than a century. If you’re looking to get your own set of durable Continental tyres, be sure to purchase them from a trusted supplier like ATS Euromaster.
