The British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) has announced plans to extend its deal with Dunlop that will see the company remain as the series' tyre supplier.
A partnership between the BTCC series and Dunlop tyres has been in place since 2003 and the new "multi-year" deal will see this association continue into next season and beyond.
Alan Gow, the boss of the series, said that Dunlop has remained the supplier to the championship for so long as it is a "responsive and enthusiastic" tyre manufacturer that delivers the "highest quality race tyres".
"Our partnership has been incredibly close and mutually rewarding, and we are delighted to extend it further."
Dunlop has been working closely with the BTCC and its teams to make the sport more exciting.
Much like Formula One, the BTCC and Dunlop have introduced an "option" tyre that the teams can run in one of the three races of an event, making tactical decisions a key element of the long-running championship this season.
