Goodyear has unveiled its newest tyres, which have been designed to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions for 4x4s.
These new tyres come hot on the heels of the popular EfficientGrip passenger compound, which garnered various awards for its economically design.
The new Goodyear EfficientGrip SUV tyres combine top quality road grip, with a unique compound that utilises the firm's innovative FuelSaving Technology designed to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
These Goodyear tyres were created using a special polymer that also improves rolling resistance, leading to a much quieter ride for the driver.
Commenting on the arrival of the new designs, Goodyear brand director Hugues Despres explained that the compounds had been created to adhere to the stricter environmental standards being introduced.
Mr Despres added that the compound will provide "a tyre that supports fuel economy, delivers advanced features designed to improve wet and dry handling and braking, while ensuring a smoother, quieter ride".
