South Korean compound manufacturer Hankook Tyres looks set to launch a series of new outdoor advertising campaigns designed to capitalise on the London Olympics.
The Games are now less than a month away and while athletes from across the globe may be gearing up to compete in the big event, like the organisers themselves Hankook is busy preparing.
Utilising large advertising spaces, the tyre maker will place posters at strategic locations in and around central London.
Key to the Hankook Tyres message is the firm's new slogan of "Be One with It" which has been formulated to highlight the importance of drivers ensuring they are at "one" with the compound and the road.
The new advertisements are set for Whitechapel Road, Cromwell Road, York Road, North Circular Road and Chiswick Roundabout among others.
Commenting on the new campaign, vice president of marketing Hee-Se Ahn said: "To further strengthen our market position in the premium tyre segment and to continue building a sustained brand awareness we’re pursuing a stringent and targeted marketing strategy.
"Running campaigns in the environment of sports mega events with premium images and worldwide media attention are naturally on top of our agenda."
