Italian tyre manufacturer Pirelli has launched a new set of motocross tyres which offer improved bike agility.
The new Scorpion MX Mid Hard 554 tyres, which replace the existing MX Mid Hard 454 range, feature a brand new tread pattern and offer less unsprung weight compared to their predecessor.
Pirelli has also made changes to other tyres in its Scorpion MX range, with the firm launching a new rear version of the popular MX Mid Soft 32 tyre.
Furthermore, the new MX eXTra X front and rear tyres will replace the existing MX eXTra range, while the MX eXTra J tyre will be available in place of the minicross MX eXTra range.
The launch comes in the same week as Pirelli secured its 56th Motocross World Championship title in Germany.
Red Bull KTM's Tony Cairoli and Ken Roczen, who both sported Pirelli tyres, won the MX1 and MX2 classes respectively.
