Pirelli appears to be looking to get the teams of Formula One (F1) used to a wide variety of its new tyres as quickly as possible.
This is after the well-known Italian manufacturer announced the compound choices for the first four stages of the motorsport's 2013 season, with a different selection being made available for each race.
When the stars of F1 line up on the grid for the season-opening grand prix in Melbourne, Australia, teams will be able to choose between supersoft and medium Pirelli tyres.
However, the selections on offer to the outfits when the Malaysian Grand Prix takes place at Kuala Lumpur a week later will alter to medium and hard products.
It will be all change once again at the third race of the F1 2013 season in Shanghai, China, with soft and medium Pirelli tyres scheduled to be the available options.
Finally, teams will be made to adapt their race tactics around soft and hard compounds when the Bahrain Grand Prix comes to Sakhir towards the end of April.
In every grand prix, the teams of F1 will receive six sets of the harder compound and five sets of the softer tyre to last them over the weekend.
Drivers can choose between a wide range of fantastic Pirelli tyres at ATS Euromaster.
