Pirelli Tyres has provided details of the compounds that will be used at the next three grand prix scheduled to take place in Formula One.
The next race is set to take place in Belgium at the famous Sp-Francochamps circuit over the weekend of August 31st and will feature medium and hard Pirelli tyres, according to the new announcement.
Following this, the Formula One roadshow will head to Monza for the Italian Grand Prix, which is set for the weekend of September 7th. A high-speed track, the event will feature the same mix of medium and hard compounds from the Italian manufacturer.
Finally, the Singapore Grand Prix will provide an altogether different challenge with soft and supersoft Pirelli tyres set to be employed.
This will represent the third time this season that the soft compounds have been deployed, following their use at races in Monaco and Canada.
Whatever the case, it promises to be a fascinating couple of months with Ferrari's Fernando Alonso currently leading the world championship standings with a lead of 40 points over nearest rival Mark Webber.
