The official supplier of tyres to Formula One, Pirelli, is set to support this year's National Motorsport Week, which is just a few days away.
Scheduled to take place from June 30th to July 8th, the annual week-long event is a celebration of all things UK motorsport and is already supported by the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) and Motor Sports Association (MSA).
Featuring a wide range of initiatives and activities from taster events from local motor clubs to factory visits and open days, this year promises to be the best, thanks to the presence of Pirelli.
The tyre manufacturer will be giving away five goodie bags to those signing up to the new Formula One fantasy prediction game: the Pirelli GP Challenge.
Using a unique code, once signed on, entrants will be entered into a prize draw to win a bag of exclusive Pirelli merchandise.
The game works by calling on players to make predictions ahead of each grand prix with the top five performers winning a prize. A round winner is then announced after every four races, with everyone then returning to zero points.
Pirelli Tyres UK marketing director Wayne Nickless explained: "We felt that the National Motorsport Week initiative tied in nicely with our new Pirelli GP Challenge as they both give something back to the fans.
"Our fantasy game has proved extremely popular since its launch last month, and we have already given away a host of prizes including an Xbox, tickets to the British Grand Prix and a supercar driving experience day."
