Rapper hits flat note with tyre problem

Tyre problems 18th June 2012

Up-and-coming rapper French Montana suffered automobile embarrassment last week, after his luxury car suffered a flat tyre when travelling to a press engagement and he was left stranded.

The 27-year-old Moroccan is widely regarded as one of the big new talents in the world of gangsta rap, having signed up to Sean 'P Diddy' Combs' Bad Boy Records in December last year.

However, his arrival in the world of hip-hop quite literally hit a bump in the road on route to a press conference in New Jersey last Friday (June 15th) after his expensive Rolls[-]Royce Ghost ran over a nail, destroying one of its tyres in the process.

Worse still, the young musician had failed to ensure a spare tyre was in the car, leaving him stranded at the roadside for around half an hour.

The star was eventually rescued by his manager who, according to the New York Post, soon arrived to take care of the damage and send French Montana on his way.

The Institute of Advanced Motoring currently recommends all motorists ensure a spare tyre and jack are  packed in their vehicle to avoid problems like this.
