Australian Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo is planning a bold entrance into the sport to next season, built around his confidence with the new Pirelli tyres.

The 22-year-old is eager to make an impact in the world of racing after graduating to Formula One following success in the Formula Three Driving Championships.

Daniel Ricciardo has been drafted in, alongside Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne, as the new driving team at Torro Rosso.

Their arrival follows the departure of Sebastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari, who were both sacked following a lacklustre 2011 campaign.

Heading into 2012, Ricciardo is in confident mood too, particularly when discussing the new Pirelli tyres that have got so many within the sport talking and left his compatriot Mark Webber somewhat flustered.

"I think they suit my style," he said. The youngster also explained that a different mentality was also required if he wished to succeed.

"I probably need a little bit more aggression which I guess will come with experience at this level,” he said.
