A fitness company in Portsmouth is preparing to drag a pair of tractor tyres for one mile in aid of tonight's Sport Relief event.
The activity is part of the biennial event which is an exercise-focused spin-off of Comic Relief, designed to raise money for charities in the UK and abroad
Eager to get involved in the event, the team at Innovations Fitness in Havant are set to drag the tyres along the popular Haylin Beach as part of a fund-raising event.
The team are aiming to raise £1,000 as part of the tyre-dragging event which is scheduled to take place at 9am on Saturday morning.
Speaking to aboutmyarea.co.uk, George Turner, who runs the fitness firm said: "The idea is that we will have a mixed teams from both Hayling Island and Emsworth competing to see who can drag their tyre the fastest over the one mile course!"
"We also have some small tyres for kids as well who can take part in their own mini tyre drag."
The event will take place after a short warm up event held on the beach.
This fundraising event is one of a number of events taking place over the weekend with Sainsbury's also hosting a sponsored one-mile fun run.
