Computerised four wheel alignment service

A computerised wheel alignment will make sure that your car's tracking is aligned with the factory settings, meaning that it will be returned to its original factory configuration.

A computerised wheel alignment, also called 4 wheel tracking, can give a more accurate 4 wheel alignment than a laser-based machine, so the car's tracking can be adjusted to an exact setting.

When you bring your car to ATS Euromaster for a computerised wheel alignment, we will show you your car's current alignment and tell you how far out your tracking is from factory specifications. You can even watch the adjustments as they are made.

*Our Computer Alignment Front Rear can take in excess of 60 minutes and includes Toe adjustment to both the front and rear wheels where possible some vehicles do not permit rear toe adjustment to occur due to vehicle design/manufacture. This service is suitable for cars, 4x4s and car derived vans only, including electric or hybrid powered vehicles. A diagnostic equipment service may also be required to switch off dashboard warning lights related to systems like steering angle sensors this is included within the cost of our Computer Alignment Front Rear service, subject to the compatibility of the vehicle with our diagnostic equipment. Camber and Castor adjustment (if possible) are not included with this service and will incur an additional charge. We do not carry out ADAS calibration on your vehicle, this is recommended after having a wheel alignment carried out.

What is 4 wheel tracking?

Four wheel tracking is simply another term for four wheel alignment, although wheel alignment is the more modern term and tends to be used over wheel tracking. 

Like four wheel alignment, four wheel tracking refers to the service of having the front and rear wheels realigned to the original factory settings in order to improve performance and optimise efficiency.

How do you know if you need a 4 wheel alignment?

If you're experiencing any of these issues, it likely means your car requires a 4 wheel alignment:

  • Your car is pulling to one side when driving straight 
  • Uneven tyre wear
  • Squeaking tyres

 Even if you don't experience any of these symptoms, it's a good idea to have your wheel alignment checked regularly.

How much does four wheel alignment, or tracking, cost in the UK?

In the UK, front wheel alignment can cost between £30-£40, while front and rear wheel alignment costs between £70-£75 on average. For some retailers or garages, this price may vary depending on the make and model of your vehicle. 

At ATS Euromaster, our four wheel alignment cost is £70. This is a fixed rate for all vehicles.

How often should you get a four wheel alignment?

We recommend that you should get a four wheel alignment service every 2-3 years. However, if you experience signs of wheel misalignment before them, you should take your wheels to be checked straight away.

How is a 4 wheel alignment done?

At ATS, our four wheel alignment uses the latest computerised wheel alignment technology to restore your wheels' tracking to the original factory settings. 

One of our expert technicians will attach sensors to your wheels, which will send data about their precise alignment and tracking measurements to a computer. This will be compared to the correct alignment settings provided by the manufacturer. Your wheels will then be aligned to match these settings.

How long does 4 wheel tracking take?

Typically, a four wheel alignment takes around 30 minutes, however this may vary depending on the type of vehicle.
