MASTERSERVICE TYRE CARE WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This document sets out the terms and conditions applicable to the MasterService Tyre Care Warranty and it is important that you read it carefully. Wherever the following words and phrases appear in this these terms and conditions they will have the following meanings:

ATS Euromaster/we/us/our means ATS Euromaster Limited, First Floor, Aqueous II, Aston Cross Business Village, Birmingham, B6 5RQ.

MasterService/MasterService Warranty: means the MasterService Tyre Care Warranty.

You/your means the purchaser of a MasterService Tyre Care Warranty

 

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. MasterService Tyre Care Warranty is available on the payment of a nominal fee on retail sales of new car, 4x4 and car-derived van tyres purchased from and fitted by ATS Euromaster.
  2. MasterService Tyre Care Warranty is available to retail customers only. It is not available for company cars or vehicles used for commercial or business purposes such as taxis or delivery, private hire or driving school vehicles.
  3. MasterService Tyre Care Warranty is sold at the discretion of ATS Euromaster who may, at their sole discretion, refuse any request to purchase MasterService.
  4. You have up to 7 days after the date of purchase of your new tyre to purchase a MasterService Tyre Care Warranty (subject to a tyre inspection by ATS Euromaster). To do so you must return with your vehicle and the original cash sales invoice to the Service Centre that fitted the tyre.
  5. Save as varied by these MasterService Tyre Care Warranty terms and conditions, the ATS Euromaster terms and conditions apply. Copies of the ATS Euromaster terms and conditions are available at all ATS Euromaster Service Centres and at www.atseuromaster.co.uk.
  6. MasterService Tyre Care Warranty does not replace the manufacturer’s guarantee or affect your statutory rights.
  7. The MasterService Tyre Care Warranty is non-transferable.
  8. FREE repair or a discounted replacement is only available for a tyre purchased with a MasterService Tyre Care Warranty and not in relation to any other tyre fitted to the vehicle.
  9. Any replacement tyre fitted will not benefit from FREE repair or a discounted replacement unless a MasterService Tyre Care Warranty is purchased to cover that tyre.
  10. Your vehicle must be permanently registered in the UK and if appropriate have a current MOT certificate and be taxed. It shall at all times be maintained in a good mechanical and roadworthy condition and be regularly serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
  11. We reserve the right to refuse to provide services or benefits pursuant to MasterService Tyre Care Warranty in the event that the vehicle has not been maintained and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
  12. We shall have no liability in the event that we are unable to provide services or benefits the under the MasterService Tyre Care Warranty due to circumstances beyond our control, including but without limitation, earthquake, epidemic, hurricane, flooding, war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, civil war or military power.
  13. The Offer and these terms and conditions are subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

MASTERSERVICE TYRE CARE WARRANTY – BENEFITS

  1. The following services are available FREE of charge from the date of purchase of the MasterService Tyre Care Warranty for the life of the tyre in the event of accidental or malicious damage or vandalism:
  • FREE tyre repair – If the tyre suffers a puncture we will repair the tyre FREE of charge if possible.
  • Replacement tyre FREE of charge or at a discount - Where the tyre suffer damage that cannot be repaired, we will supply and fit a replacement tyre of a similar type/quality either FREE of charge or at a discounted rate depending on amount of remaining tread remaining as set out in the table below

  • FREE tubeless valve – Where we repair and refit a tyre or supply and fit a replacement tyre, we will also supply and fit a FREE tubeless valve replacement (cost of replacing pressure monitoring valves and/or sensors is excluded. If a pressure monitoring valve is fitted, we will service it. If a replacement pressure monitoring valve and/or sensor is required this will be at your cost.)
  • FREE wheel balancing – Where we repair and refit a tyre or supply and fit a replacement tyre, we will balance the wheel FREE of charge.
  • FREE tyre inspection and pressure check – Visit one of our Service Centres at any time and we will inspect your tyres for damage and wear and check the pressures.
  • FREE Digital Vehicle Health Check (DVHC) , including a FREE wheel alignment check - takes around 30 minutes and can be booked at any of our servicing centres. It comprises;

✓ Tyre tread depth, pressure and condition checks
✓ Windscreen washers and wipers operation check
✓ Dashboard warning light check
✓ Air conditioning system operation check (if applicable)
✓ Visual lights condition check
✓ Oil level check
✓ Battery charge test and visual condition check 
✓ Front brake system components check* (including a brake fluid condition and level check) 
✓ Visual exhaust system components check** 
✓ Visual suspension system components check** 
✓ Wheel alignment check

*We will not ordinarily remove the wheels for a DVHC so the brake inspection will be limited to those component that are visible without removing the wheels. If we have to remove the wheels for any reason the inspection will include the brake pads, discs and connected components. The components will be checked for damage and wear but not their operation.

**We will visually check these components for damage or wear (not their operation) if we are able to get sufficient access to inspect them properly (e.g. the vehicle is on a ramp for other work to be carried out).

Charges will apply if you ask us to undertake any remedial work identified by the DVHC or the wheel alignment check.

 

MASTERSERVICE TYRE CARE WARRANTY – HOW TO CLAIM

  1. To claim any of the MasterService Tyre Care Warranty benefits you can attend at any ATS Euromaster Service Centre. The benefits cannot be provided at any other location.
  2. To claim a FREE repair, or replacement tyre FREE of charge or at a discount, you must bring with you the original cash sale invoice for MasterService Tyre Care Warranty and the tyre which is covered by MasterService as proof of purchase. An appointment is not always necessary but it recommended that you book in advance by telephoning the Service Centre to ensure that they can fit you in and/or to minimise waiting.
  3. For a FREE tyre check you can attend at any ATS Euromaster Centre at any time. No appointment is necessary, but it is recommended that you book in advance by telephoning the Service Centre to ensure that they can fit you in and/or to minimise waiting.
  4. The FREE Digital Vehicle Health Check (DVHC) and wheel alignment check is available at any ATS Euromaster Service Centre. As the DVHC takes approximately 30 minutes you must book in advance which you can do by telephoning the Service Centre. Remember to bring with you the original cash sale invoice for MasterService Tyre Care Warranty.

 

MASTERSERVICE TYRE CARE WARRANTY – WHAT IS EXCLUDED

  1. The following exclusions apply to the MasterService Tyre Care Warranty meaning, as applicable, (1) that the vehicle is not eligible to benefit from the MasterService Tyre Care Warranty and/or (2) that where a MasterService Tyre Care Warranty has been purchased we may decline to provide services or benefits and/ or (3) that costs or losses specified are in any event excluded or otherwise irrecoverable under/or in relation to the MasterService Tyre Care Warranty:
  • Vehicles used for commercial or business purposes such as taxis or delivery, private hire or driving school vehicles. 
  • The cost of any spare or replacement parts other than those identified as being FREE of charge under the terms of the MasterService Tyre Care Warranty. 
  • Tyres that have been subject to improper use (e.g. competitions, rallying etc.) or If your vehicle has been modified for, or is taking part in, racing, trials or rallying.
  • Vehicles registered outside the UK or which do not, if required, have valid MOT.
  • Loss of any kind arising indirectly from the provision of, or delay in providing, services under the MasterService Tyre Care Warranty. 
  • The cost of parts forming part of the tyre pressure monitoring system including valves and sensors. 
  • The cost of repair, or the provision of a replacement tyre at a discount where the repair is carried out or the replacement tyre is fitted otherwise than by an ATS Euromaster Service Centre. Tyre repair or replacement must be carried out by an ATS Euromaster Service Centre.

 

MASTERSERVICE TYRE CARE WARRANTY – OUR PROMISE OF SERVICE

We make every effort to provide you with the highest standards of service. If on any occasion our service falls below the standard you would expect us to meet, the procedure below explains what you should do.

If you have a complaint regarding any other aspect of the services provided pursuant to MasterService Tyre Care Warranty, you can write to the Customer Relations Team who will undertake an investigation on your behalf, at ATS Euromaster Limited, First Floor, Aqueous II, Aston Cross Business Village, Birmingham, B6 5RQ or telephone 0333 0050502.

 

DATA PROTECTION

We collect personal information when you register with us, place an order or we provide you with products and services. We will use this information to provide services to you and to send you marketing information. We may also pass your information to our Group Companies or to carefully selected third parties who undertake marketing and other business activities on our behalf. DIGITAL VEHICLE HEALTH CHECK (DVHC) TERMS AND CONDITIONS / DISCLAIMER

The DVHC is limited to the visual inspections and/or checks detailed above. It is not a comprehensive safety check and is not intended to impose upon ATS Euromaster any warranty implied or otherwise as to the road-worthiness, safety or condition of the vehicle. If we are unable to complete any checks for any reason, this will be reflected in your digital copy of the Vehicle Health Check form. Please ask a member of staff if you have any questions. Any components removed / refitted to a vehicle will be tightened to the manufacturer’s specified torque.
