Low Cost Filter & Oil Change Service

Regular oil changes are key to keeping your car's engine running healthily for as long as possible. Oil keeps the components within the engine moving with as little resistance as possible. It needs to be replaced routinely to make sure you keep getting the best performance. Book an oil and filter change near you at one of over 150 ATS Euromaster centres across the UK offering this service.
ATS Euromaster recommends that engine oil levels are checked once a month. We are proud suppliers of Mobil oils, so you know that when you come to us for an engine oil change, you're filling your car with the most advanced and market-leading oil.
What is the difference between the Mobil oils we use?
Why get a regular oil change?
Over time, oil can lose its effectiveness in a number of ways, so it's important to make sure the oil in your car is healthy and not causing any damage to vital components.
As oil gets used and breaks down, sludge and dirt build up, and more contaminants from the internal combustion process can enter the system. To prevent this dirty oil from causing harm in the entire oil system, an engine oil filter is used to keep the oil as pure as possible as it makes its way around the engine.
No matter how well-maintained the engines are, the system will generate dirt and deposits that contaminate the oil. The engine oil filter will initially remove any dirt from the oil; however, the filter will eventually clog up, making the oil cleansing process ineffective. This is why you need a regular filter and engine oil change at one of our oil change shops to refresh the engine system and keep your engine healthy and running smoothly.
Signs you might need an oil change
Your vehicle's oil levels need to be checked regularly to ensure your car is always running smoothly. The function of the oil is to keep all of the moving parts of your car's components lubricated to reduce friction so they don't seize up. That's why you need an oil change on a regular basis — an oil change service replaces dirty oil and keeps the parts of your engine moving and working effectively.
Some signs that it’s time for an oil and filter change include:
- A dashboard warning light showing a low oil level or oil pressure.
- Unusual engine noise or ticking, especially when starting the car.
- Dark, thick, or dirty oil when you check the dipstick.
- Increased fuel consumption or reduced engine performance.
- A burning smell from the engine compartment.
- Smoke from the exhaust that wasn’t there before.
If you notice any of these signs, your vehicle may no longer be protected by clean engine oil. Delaying an oil change could lead to faster wear of moving parts and more serious engine problems. Using high-quality motor oil and replacing the oil filter regularly helps maintain engine performance, especially in older cars or those used for short trips.

FAQs – Oil change
Our filter and oil change price starts from only £119.00. It depends on factors like your engine size and the quality of oil you choose to use.
An oil and filter change typically takes between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your vehicle. You can wait in one of our comfortable centres or drop the car off and pick it up later.
Please note that the service light will not be reset, and the service book will not be stamped, unless an Interim, Full, or Major Service is completed. Oil and filter services should not be viewed as a replacement for an Interim, Full, or Major Service. These services have specific vehicle safety checks, which are recommended by vehicle manufacturers at certain points throughout the vehicle's life. Oil and filter changes are excellent for high-mileage vehicles that need to have their oil changed between annual services.
Synthetic oil is engineered to offer better performance, protection, and lifespan than conventional (mineral) oil. It resists breakdown at higher temperatures and helps reduce engine wear, especially in modern engines or those used in urban driving conditions. We use only high-quality engine oils that meet or exceed the manufacturer’s standards.
Yes, in some cases. If you drive frequently, tow heavy loads, or cover short distances frequently, your engine oil may degrade faster. A mid-service oil change helps maintain lubrication and prevents the buildup of sludge. Your vehicle handbook can advise on service intervals, or you can ask our technicians for guidance.
How long an oil filter lasts depends on the vehicle you have and how many miles you've driven. As a general rule, an oil filter will last between 5,000 and 8,000 miles. You should think about getting an oil filter change every time you go for an oil change service, which should occur around this 5,000- to 8,000-mile mark. .
