Car Brake Pads & Discs

You never know what's around the corner and when you might need to stop quickly and safely. For this reason, it's essential to have your braking system checked regularly by professionals. If you are unsure about the condition of your brakes, our friendly, expert technicians will check your braking system to identify any issues and help you stay safe on the road.

Our brake specialists are fully trained and committed to maintaining your brakes in an expert and cost-effective manner. What's more is that all of our brake parts come with a 12 month guarentee (or 12,000 miles - whichever comes first).

We offer convenient appointments (offering a free coffee machine, free Wi-Fi and a comfortable reception area) that are flexible to your requirements. At ATS Euromaster, we offer two kinds of brake inspections: a FREE Primary Front Visual Inspection (which takes around 30 minutes to complete) and a Full Brake Inspection that takes approximately one hour.

Brake Fluid Change

We also offer the option to book a brake fluid change online for only £39.99.

FREE Visual Brake Inspection

Our complimentary Primary Front Brake Inspection includes a visual inspection of your brake pads, brake discs, calipers and visible brake pipes. Our experts will examine the condition of your brakes and will advise you if any parts may be unsafe or worn. To ensure your road safety we may recommend a Full Brake Inspection is carried out to further determine the condition of your braking system if we have concerns from our FREE visual inspection report.

Full Brake Inspection (£31.99)

Our Full Brake Inspection examines the condition of all of your brake components to keep you safe – our first priority – and to help prevent more costly repair bills in the future. This inspection takes approximately one hour to complete and covers a full braking system check, including:

  • Inspecting the condition and digitally measuring wear on brake pads, discs, shoes and drums.

  • Checking the condition and operation of callipers & wheel cylinders.

  • Inspecting the condition of brake hoses and brake pipes (checking for leaks or corrosion).

  • Testing handbrake performance and assessing cable and linkage condition.

  • Measuring brake fluid level, condition and boiling point.

  • Checking master cylinder and servo operation.

  • Inspecting brake light condition and operation.

We’ll always offer you a copy of our brake report showing the current condition of your braking system together with a free, no obligations quote should any work be required. If we find your brake system is in need of work, the great news is that the initial charge for the Full brake inspection will be deducted from any brake related invoice subsequently produced by ATS Euromaster provided the work is carried out within seven days of inspection.

If we find your brake system is in good condition, we will give your system a quick clean and adjustment before reassembling your brake components to ensure optimum performance.

How Brakes Work

Many vehicles today are equipped with front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. These are operated via a system that consists of a hydraulic circuit linked in turn to the brake pedal. Pressure generated by the pedal (the braking force) is transmitted by the brake fluid via the hydraulic circuit to perform the braking action.

Signs of Brake Wear - What To Look Out For

It's not always obvious that your car brake pads and discs need replacing but there are a few warning signs to look out for.

If you hear any unusual noise such as car brakes squeaking or juddering when braking, or if you find your vehicle pulling to one side you may need to have your vehicle braking system inspected. Simple wear and tear can also mean that you experience a reduction in brake performance.

At ATS Euromaster, we offer a full brake inspection from a little as £31.99. Our experts will assess the condition of your brakes and inform you if anything should need replacing. If replacement parts are needed, we can source matching quality replacement parts immediately.

Our Full Brake Inspection examines the condition of all of your brake components to keep you safe – our first priority – and to help prevent more costly repair bills in the future.
