An Oil & Filter service is just an oil and filter change and the oil change light can be reset as part of this offer. However if the vehicle service light is on then this cannot be reset unless an interim,full or major service is completed.

Oil and Filter services should not be confused as a replacement for an interim, full or major service. These services have specific vehicle safety checks which are recommended  by vehicle manufacturers at certain points through the vehicle's life. Oil and filter changes are excellent for high mileage vehicles to have their oil changed in between annual services.
