The cutting edge Hankook Ventus S1 Evo2 SUV has continued with the features of the Ventus S1 Evo 2, its passenger vehicle counterpart. However, this version has incorporated a number of the constraints and characteristics specific to SUVs. Since 4x4 vehicles tend to be heavier than city cars, this tyre is equipped with a high density polyester carcass which increases the rigidity of the sidewalls and thus the tyre’s mileage longevity.





The “Aqua Driving Control” system guarantees motorist safety over wet roads by accelerating the evacuation of water through its 4 wide longitudinal grooves, thus reducing the risk of aquaplaning by maintaining maximum contact between the road and the tyre.





Driving at high speeds is highly demanding for tyres, and it produces a lot of heat. To regulate tyre temperature, Hankook’s research teams have developed the “Cooling System”. This intermediary cooling mechanism gives the tyre the ability to maintain optimal performance in any situation.





A triple transmission line on the shoulder block allows the tyre to maintain a balanced performance level, even when it is nearing its current maximum legal wear rate.





Drivers can easily check wheel alignment thanks to a marker on the tread, thus avoiding potentially premature tyre wear.
