The Accelera Phi R is a variation on the manufacturer's prior Phi tyre. It is distinguished from this older model by an asymmetrical tread pattern, which provides a high amount of grip over both dry and wet roads. In addition to facilitating water drainage, its triple rib design improves the vehicle's stability at high speeds. Moreover, its new shoulder block further enhances stability when cornering and manoeuvring. The tyre's newly added sipes have been designed to reduce rolling noise. According to the manufacturer, the Phi R's compound allows for both everyday road use and racetrack driving.
